“To be, or not to be, that is the question” (Shakespeare’s Hamlet, III.i.55):
But who are we to answer it? Few of us realize the importance of the upcoming election, due to the fact that most of us are too young to even vote in it. Though the votes seem to favor the democratic candidates, there is one factor that seems to tip the balance for me: their stand on abortion. This of course isn’t the deciding factor, but it would be key in my decision of who I would want to run the country I am to grow up in. There isn’t a perfect candidate, but one must choose the better of multiple evils or rather, pick their poison.
So the democrats say no to war, but yes to abortion, while John McCain says no to abortion, but yes to the war. Which is the lesser evil? Since the start of the war over 4000 soldiers have been killed, but this rivals the fact that an equal amount of abortions are made daily; 4000 dead in five-years versus 4000 dead each day. Also, war (in the present-day) is a voluntary act and you enlist yourself, those babies that are aborted every day have no choice and often suffer from the misdoings of his or her parents.
